- Basic Degree in Agriculture with Post Graduation M.Sc.(Ag.) in Seed Technology / Plant Breeding / Agronomy / Plant Physiology from any university recognized by ICAR.
- Result must be declared by the concerned University as on the date of notification (02/07/2026).

- Minimum Age: 18 years (born on or after 01/07/2008)
- Maximum Age: 44 years (born on or before 02/07/1982)
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST/BC/EWS – 5 years; Physically Handicapped – 10 years; State Government Employees – Up to 5 years; Ex-Servicemen – 3 years + service length
