- Age limit: PAT-I (35 years), PAT-II (35 years), PA-I (35 years), Sr. PAT (40 years), Project Scientist-II (40 years) – age relaxation as per rules
- Only candidates who have already acquired essential qualification and have result declared (at least provisional certificate) are eligible
- Result awaited / Final semester appeared candidates are NOT eligible
- Experience counted from date after acquiring minimum essential qualification (Dissertation/PhD work not counted)
- Part-time/daily wages/visiting faculty experience not counted
- No TA/DA for interview
- No claim for permanent position
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification
- Selection based on academic records, test (if conducted), and interview
- Offer letter initially for 6 months; extension subject to performance review and fund availability
