🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Young Professional-II (YP-II) – NMHYS Project

• Essential: Post graduates in Seed Science and Technology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Physiology, Botany, Biotechnology/Molecular Biology, Vegetable/Horticulture or other allied disciplines of Agricultural Sciences.
• OR
• Professional Graduates (B.E./B.Tech.) in relevant subjects.

Young Professional-I (YP-I) – Seed Physiology Project

• Eligibility: Graduate degree in relevant field as per project requirements. Refer to official notification for complete details.

Skilled & Unskilled Labour – NMHYS Project

• Eligibility: As per ICAR norms. Refer to official notification for complete details.

🎂 Age Limit

• Young Professionals (YP-I & YP-II): Minimum 21 years – Maximum 45 years
• Skilled/Unskilled Labour: As per ICAR norms
• Relaxation: As per Government of India/ICAR rules

⏳ Duration

• Project period is till 31 March 2027
• Further extendable subject to satisfactory performance, continuation of project, and availability of funds
• Work progress reviewed by Principal Investigator every six months
• Posts are co-terminus with the project

⚠️ Important Terms & Conditions

• Engagement is purely temporary, contractual, time-bound and co-terminus with the project.
• No claim for regular appointment or absorption at ICAR/IARI.
• TA/DA admissible for official tours as per ICAR rules.
• No TA/DA for attending the interview.
• NOC required from present employer.
• Must declare any relative working in ICAR/IARI (Annexure-II).
• Concealment of facts or canvassing leads to disqualification.
• Any dispute subject to jurisdiction of New Delhi courts.
