🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• M.Sc or M.Tech (including Integrated M.Tech 4+2) in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Plant Biochemistry / Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor's degree.
• For candidates with 3 years bachelor's degree: Must have NET/GATE qualification.

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in protein biochemistry
• Experience in molecular techniques
• Experience in field phenotyping
• Experience in handling rice crop

• Online Interview: Details will be communicated to shortlisted candidates via email

🎂 Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years (as on interview date)
• Relaxation: SC/ST & Women – 5 years, OBC – 3 years

⏳ Duration

• Initial engagement up to 31 March 2027
• May be extended periodically subject to performance till termination of the project
• Post is co-terminus with the project

• Engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
• No claim for regular appointment at ICAR/IARI.
• Online Interview – only eligible candidates will be informed via email.
• No TA/DA will be paid.
• NOC required from employer if currently employed.
• Must declare any relative working in ICAR/IARI by 1 September 2026.
• Concealment of facts or canvassing leads to disqualification.
• Any dispute subject to jurisdiction of New Delhi courts.
