🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Master's Degree in Home Science / Community Science with specialization in Food and Nutrition discipline having at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
• NET Qualified: National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR-ASRB, UGC, CSIR or SET/SLET qualified.
• OR
• Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied subject in accordance with the University Grant Commission and ICAR guidelines.

Desirable Qualifications

• Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience.

🎂 Age Limit

• Maximum 70 years as per UGC guidelines No. F.25-1/2018(PS/Misc) dated 28-01-2019.

💰 Honorarium & Benefits

• Honorarium: ₹1,500/- per lecture
• Maximum: ₹50,000/- per month
• Disbursement: Monthly basis as per the number of lectures taken, certified by the UG-Course Coordinator
• TA/DA: Entitled to TA/DA while on official tour as per the entitlement of Assistant Professor

⚠️ Important Terms & Conditions

• Initial empanelment will be for 12 months, extendable annually based on satisfactory performance.
• Position is purely contractual – does not constitute a regular job in ICAR.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Guest faculty must comply with Standards of Conduct – failure will lead to termination without notice.
• Candidates already employed must produce No Objection Certificate (NOC).
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• A panel of Guest Faculty will be created out of shortlisted candidates based on merit.
