To train entrepreneurs, faculties, progressive farmers and scholars on cultivation, processing and formulation of value-added products from Spirulina biomass. The training programme includes expert lectures, practical sessions, and field visits to Spirulina cultivation sites in the NCR region.
🟢 What is Spirulina?
Spirulina is a blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) that is considered a superfood due to its high nutritional value. It is rich in proteins, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Spirulina cultivation has emerged as a profitable agri-venture with growing demand in health supplements, food products, and nutraceuticals.
