🎓 Eligibility Criteria
🎯 Young Professional-II (YP-II)
Essential Qualifications:
- First class Master's degree with specialization in Environmental Sciences / Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry / Ag Chemistry (with thesis work)
Desirable:
- Experience in sampling and analysis of soil and air samples
- Handling of instruments like GC, GC-MS, Spectrophotometer
- Scientific literature review and good scientific writing skills
- Data curation and analysis in MS Excel
🎯 Field Assistant (2 Posts)
Essential Qualifications:
- 10th pass with experience of working in agricultural fields
- Data entry in MS Excel
Desirable:
- Experience in soil and GHG sampling
- Soil sample processing
- GHG data entry
📅 Age Limit (YP-II)
Maximum 35 years as on last date of application
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST & Women, 3 years for OBC
📅 Age Limit (Field Assistant)
As per ICAR norms (relaxation applicable)

⚠️ Important Terms & Conditions
- Nature of Post: Purely temporary and contractual basis till Dec 2027, extendable up to project termination on satisfactory performance.
- No Claim: Selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
- Shortlisting: Only candidates having essential qualifications and necessary experience will be shortlisted for the interview.
- False Claims: If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage, their candidature will be rejected.
- Canvassing: Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form directly or indirectly shall lead to disqualification or termination.
- Relatives Declaration: Candidates must declare, in writing, if any near/distant relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI. Failure to do so will result in rejection.
- Termination: The Director reserves the right to terminate the contract even before project completion.
- Jurisdiction: All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of New Delhi Courts only.
- Original Documents: Selected candidate will be required to produce all original documents and medical certificate from IARI dispensary at the time of joining.
