🎓 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Essential Qualifications
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following:
- Option 1: Master's degree in Biotechnology / Virology / Plant Pathology from a recognized University or equivalent AND 4 years experience in Research and Development in industrial and Academic Institutions or Sciences and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
- Option 2: Doctoral degree in Biotechnology / Virology / Plant Pathology / Engineering and Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
⭐ Desirable Qualifications
- Research experience in molecular diagnostics of viruses and virus-like agents
- Hands-on expertise in PCR / RT-PCR / qPCR / DAS / DAC ELISA
- Independently able to perform diagnostics and virome analysis of crops covered under NCS-TCP
- Good knowledge of SOPs preparation and database management
- Good publications in SCI journal
- NET qualified candidates would be preferred
