🌾 About the Project (Misc-164, PC-5463)

“Soil Health and Livelihoods: Strategic role of Biochar in advancing climate-smart agriculture in the rice-wheat cropping system.” This position is purely contractual for a period of six months.

🎓 Essential Qualifications

• B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
• M.Sc. in Soil Science/Agronomy/Chemistry with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
• Mandatory: Candidates with M.Sc. must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET).
• Alternative Qualification: Candidates with a Ph.D. in the discipline required at the Master’s level are also eligible.

➕ Desirable Experience (Preference will be given):

• Previous experience working with biochar.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing soil samples in both field and laboratory conditions.
• Hands-on experience working with a CHNS analyzer.

2. Submit Complete Application: Fill the form and attach attested copies of all documents (Name, Address, Age proof, Educational Qualifications, Experience).
3. Deadline: Ensure your application reaches the office of the Head, Department of Soil Science, by 24 March 2026. Incomplete or unsupported applications will be rejected.
4. Interview: Appear in person on 27 March 2026 at 11:30 AM in the office room of the Head of the Department.
