Big news for farmers! Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday, released the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, ensuring Rs. 2,000 has been directly transferred (via DBT) into the bank accounts of over 9.7 crore eligible farmers across the country. In total, a whopping Rs. 20,500 crore has been disbursed under this phase.
But if you’re still waiting for that SMS alert or haven’t seen the credit in your bank account yet don’t panic. There are a few common reasons that could be holding up your payment.
PM-Kisan: Why you have not received Rs. 2,000 yet?
Here’s why your PM-Kisan 20th installment might be delayed:
- e-KYC not completed
- Land records not verified
- Incorrect or mismatched details in your application
All three of these need to be up-to-date for the money to reach your account smoothly.
How to get PM-Kisan Installment?
First, check your application status by visiting the official PM Kisan website. Go to the Farmer Corner section and click on “Beneficiary Status.” You can verify your status using your Aadhaar number, mobile number or bank account number.
If all fields, e-KYC, Land Seeding and Aadhaar-Bank Seeding show “Yes”, then you will definitely receive your installment soon (if not till now). If any field shows “No”, then you need to update or correct your records.
