The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially launched the recruitment process for 310 posts of Agriculture Field Officer (Scale I) under the Specialist Officer (SO) cadre. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.ibps.in from July 1 to July 21, 2025.

IBPS Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must be in between 20 to 30 years of age. He or she must hold a four-year degree in Agriculture or allied fields such as: Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Biotechnology, Forestry, Sericulture, Food Technology, etc.
IBPS Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process involves three stages:
(a) Preliminary Examination – This includes 150 questions from English, Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of exam is 2 hours and total marks is 125.
(b) Main Examination – The duration is 45 minutes and total marks is 60. It must be noted that only marks from the main exam will be considered for shortlisting of applicants for the interview and final merit list.
(c) Interview – Candidates must qualify in each stage to be considered for final appointment.
IBPS Recruitment 2025: Salary of Agriculture Field Officers
Agriculture Field Officers will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920 along with other benefits and allowances as per bank norms.
Application Fee
SC/ST/PwBD candidates will have to pay ₹175 while all other categories will have to submit ₹850. Fees must be paid online during the application period.
