🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Research Associate-III (RA-III)
Essential Qualification
- Ph.D. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences (or closely related discipline) from a recognized University, with a minimum of 60% marks.
- OR
- Master's degree in the above disciplines with a minimum of 3 years' research, teaching, or design-and-development experience and at least one research paper published in an SCI-indexed journal [as per DST O.M. No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26.06.2023].
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification research experience (for placement at RA-III level) in R&D at Industrial/Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations, preferably in agricultural/environmental microbiology or multi-institutional R&D project execution.
Desirable Qualification (RA-III)
- Experience coordinating research workflows across multiple institutions in a multi-disciplinary project setting.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-location field trials across diverse agro-ecological zones with RCBD protocols.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex datasets into Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) and Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) reports.
- Experience developing technical manuals/training modules for extension networks (e.g., ICAR-KVK).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis of multi-location trial data (e.g., R, SAS).
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Essential Qualification
- Master's degree in Microbiology / Life Sciences / Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognized University, having a minimum of 60% marks.
- CSIR/UGC-NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or equivalent national-level examination conducted by Central Government Departments/Agencies (e.g., DST, DBT, ICAR, ICMR).
- Two years' research experience in R&D in the Agriculture Sector, Academic Institutions, or S&T Organizations [as per DST O.M. dated 26.06.2023].
- OR
- Doctoral Degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification (SRF)
- Hands-on experience maintaining specialized microbial repositories (e.g., methanotrophs, cyanobacteria, polyextremophiles).
- Experience developing stable liquid and solid microbial bio-formulations.
- Proficiency in specialized analytical techniques, including HPLC.
- Experience in high-volume processing of soil and plant samples from pot/field trials.
🎂 Age Limit
- RA-III: Maximum 40 years
- SRF: Maximum 35 years
- Relaxation as per Government of India instructions for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women.
